Motion Sensor Light Bar

A slim bar of warm light for the places a lamp was never going to reach. It sticks up with the adhesive backing, so there is no drilling, no wiring and no need for a socket anywhere near it.

An infrared sensor sits at one end and watches a 120 degree arc. Step into range and the bar is already lit. Leave, and it goes back off on its own. Nothing to feel around for in the dark, which is the whole point at 2am.

There is an always on mode too, for when you want it lit while you cook or find something at the back of a cupboard.

The light is warm rather than the blue white of a strip light, so it reads as lamplight instead of a garage. Under a kitchen cabinet it lights the counter without lighting the whole room. Inside a wardrobe it finds the dark end of the rail. Along a hallway or the top of the stairs it shows the floor and leaves everyone else asleep.

Four lengths. The 10 cm suits a drawer, a shelf, or the spot where the keys live. The 20 and 30 cm sit under a standard cabinet. The 50 cm covers a full counter run, a wardrobe rail, or a stretch of hallway.

The battery is built in and rechargeable, so there are no cells to buy and nothing to replace.
