A small light that plugs straight into the wall socket. There is no switch to find and nothing to charge.

A sensor reads the room and turns the light on as it gets dark, then off again in the morning. Plug it in once and leave it.

The same sensor sets how bright it needs to be. The darker the room, the more light it gives.

At 40 lumens and 3000K it is warm and soft. Enough to find the bathroom door or the bottom of the stairs, not enough to wake you on the way. It draws 0.3 watts and stays cool to the touch, so it can run every night. It is small enough that the socket beside it stays usable.
